We want to exercise our ultimate right as Americans. We want to alter and abolish the status quo of institutionalized corruption by calling together a non-binding deliberative assembly (a convention) on the authority of the Constitution. GAs of the Occupy movement and supporters of the Tea Party movement should both begin calling for the Article V Convention. There is common ground for all Americans and we’ll find that out during the ratification process–but first we must assemble in order to make proposals.

The states have cast hundreds of applications for a convention and one session of Congress after another has kicked the can down the road.
